High Line Park

  1. Very nice blend of tones, contrast and texture in these. A nice illustration of the importance of making some space for living things in the urban environment. Makes me wish I could get back to NYC with my cameras. I used to have a view much like that from the windows of my Lower Eastside apt.

  2. Thanks, Mike. High line is a former train track line that run high above ground on the lower west side. The city reclaimed it and converted it into a beautiful park. The buildings are remains of the old neighboorhood that is slowly vanishing, being replaced by new highrises.
I hope to post more shots of the park in color soon.
