Thanks to my tax refund, I finally was able to get my dream camera;
a Leica M2. I got it from Keh.com. Listed as a bargain, it was nevertheless
very clean and seems to work perfectly.
I haven't found an affordable Leitz lens yet so my screw mount Jupiter-12
and Canon 50 f1.8 lenses would do.

ReplyDeleteThanks Mike. It seems like I started collecting my other rangefinder cameras because I couldn't justify buying a Leica for personal shooting. After all I earn my bread and butter with digital photography. But after enjoying shooting film again so much, I couldn't resist any longer.

I think it is worth the investment just for a reliable platform for the Soviet lenses. I'm tempted to do the same thing because I like my little collapsible FED so much. I'm eagerly awaiting your reports.
