Canon VT
I acquired this Canon VT rangefinder camera late last year but only had a chance to shoot with it last week. It is my third Canon LTM camera. I like using the trigger winder and the simpler viewfinder. The Canon P has a bigger viewfinder but I find the P's 3 frame lines that are always visible a little bit distracting.

The Argus A2B
Inspired by the success of Leica, the International Radio started producing the first American made 35mm film cameras starting with the Argus A series.
This Argus A2B was produced from 1945-1950.
I put a roll of Fuji Superia 200 in it and took it for a short walk just before Christmas.

Homesick
It's been a while since I've visited the land of my birth, the Philippines. In the past couple weeks, we had seen the country suffered because of the devastating typhoon Haiyan. It's very frustrating and heartbreaking for Filipinos living abroad like me to watch helplessly as they see their people suffer such biblical calamity. Yes, we can send donations to the many charitable organizations who are helping out but I personally feel the need to physically touch a fellow country man who is suffering and lend a direct comforting hand. They say the Filipinos are resilient people and are endowed with strong positive spirit. To them I send my undying love.
